A tranquil place to stay in Britain's most easterly town where you won’t be disappointed with your stay

Lowestoft has a fine shopping area, which is only a 10-15 stroll from our property.

There are several lovely parks and gardens, one of which (Wellington Gardens), is only a stone’s throw away. There is also a beautiful Blue Flag beach just opposite, where you will also find Claremont Pier, which houses some lovely restaurants, a tearoom, an amusement arcade and also an indoor roller skating venue.
Nearby you have The Marina Theatre, where you can see stand up comedy and various stage shows throughout the year, including an annual Christmas Pantomime. Lowestoft also has Africa Alive Wildlife Park, the Transport Museum, and also just up the road there is Somerleyton Hall and Gardens and also Ness Point - the most easterly point in the UK.
The gateway to the Norfolk Broads is only a 10 minute drive away in the picturesque village of Oulton Broad, where you can hire day boats, go on a relaxing cruise through one of the local tour operators, or if you fancy a spot of fishing this is also available.

Venturing further afield, Southwold with its historic church and of course Adnam's Brewery is a must.

The fine city of Norwich with its beautiful Cathedrals and Castle, dating back to circa 1067, is just 40 minutes away by both train and road. Norwich has one of the finest shopping areas in East Anglia and boasts a wide range of shops, both new and old, as well as the largest open-air market in the country, with rich heritage and traditional appearance.
